About bulk Reishi Mushroom Extract

Reishi Mushroom Extract is produced from Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body and supplied as a powder. Two grades are supplied: a 10:1 extract, and an extract assayed at 40% polysaccharides by UV-VIS. It is sold in bulk by the kilogram, with pound and gram conversions available for quoting, and every lot is batch-numbered. The two grades are specified on different bases, one by extract ratio and the other by a polysaccharide assay, so state the grade and the figure your specification calls for when you request a quote. We will send the current lot's certificate of analysis with the quotation, so it can be checked against real material before a purchase order is raised.

Formulating with Reishi Mushroom Extract

Both grades are used in capsules, tablets, powder blends and functional beverage bases, and both are specified at a minimum of 90% through 80 mesh, so either is normally taken in at the blending stage. The grades are not interchangeable on a weight basis: confirm which one a blend or capsule fill was validated on before reordering. E. coli and Salmonella are specified negative on both grades. If your specification calls for a different extract ratio, a different polysaccharide level or another marker assay, send it with the enquiry and we will source and quote against it.

Sourcing and quality control

The material is held in U.S. stock and ships from our domestic warehouse network. The certificates give a 36-month period for material kept dry and away from light and heat; on the polysaccharide grade it is stated as a re-test interval. Each lot carries its own batch number, and we supply that lot's certificate of analysis with the shipment or on request, so the ratio or assay, the mesh and the microbiology results tie back to the material you receive rather than to a generic specification. We source through vetted, cGMP-compliant manufacturing partners.
